Fastback® 15xs Tape Binding Machine
This multipurpose machine handles tape binding, perfect binding and hardcover book binding. It can create anything from a simple report to a 350-sheet hardback book. It will even do memo pads!
Fast, and virtually maintenance free, the Fastback® 15xs is the
ideal machine for any print shop, copy shop, professional bindery,
or office that needs a full-featured binding solution at a fraction of the cost of traditional methods.
It is compatible with nearly all of the Powis binding materials, from the Super Strip™ to the Composition (leather-like) covers to the Perfectback® strips for binding paperback books.
The Fastback 15xs uses Smart Strip™ technology, which identifies the type of binding strip that is being used, and automatically adjusts the time and temperature settings to match. |
Foilfast® P21x 600 dpi Printer
The revolutionary Foilfast® P21x printer is the perfect addition to any office. It’s as small as an inkjet printer and just as easy to use. Without buying expensive metal dies or hot-foil stamping equipment, you can go from concept to finished cover in less than two minutes. Anyone can produce beautiful foil-printed covers on demand.
This 600 dpi printer will feed multiple pages, and is designed to work with the Powis Comp Cover™ line of covers. It also prints in foil on Powis’ 7 mil clear poly covers. The Foilfast printer uses drop-in foil cartridges that come in seven popular colors: gold, silver, black, white, red, green, and blue. The foil colors match the colors available for the PowisPrinter®, ensuring consistent design throughout your work. |

Fastback® Tape Binding Machine
The versatile Fastback® 9 is the most compact and affordable binding machine that Powis makes. Its desktop footprint (13”× 19.5”) is small enough to fit the most cramped conditions.
The Fastback 9 handles tape binding, Image Strip™ binding, and hardcover book binding. It is a great choice for the small
office/home office (SOHO). It’s also suitable for companies that
do not have a central copy shop, and require that each
department handle its own binding.
In spite of its size and price point, the Fastback 9 is a powerful machine that can produce finished binding 3.5 times faster than traditional punch-and-bind systems. It binds from 10 to 250 sheets and is perfect for short-run and occasional jobs.
